Follow in the footsteps of pilgrims on this overnight trek up Mount Sinai — the peak where, by tradition, Moses received the Ten Commandments. You will be collected from your hotel around 10pm and driven to the Saint Catherine Protected Area, then climb by moonlight with a local Bedouin guide, reaching the 2,285-metre summit in the small hours.
Wrapped against the mountain chill, you will watch a breathtaking sunrise spill across the Sinai peaks — an unforgettable, deeply moving moment. After descending there is time to visit the ancient Saint Catherine's Monastery, one of the oldest working monasteries in the world, home to the Burning Bush, before the drive back to your resort. A warm jacket and comfortable shoes are essential.

Night Tour
Arrival at Location
Our trip will start in Moses mountain area, the first point of us will be Hiking & climbing the 2285 m high mountain with one of our Bedouin mountain trekking guide, it will be around 02.00 am - 05.00 am. You can climb the mountain By following a long path which leads to 700 steps. This takes you to the top of the mountain on time for the sunrise where you can enjoy a beautiful view. After Sunrise view and Bedouin Tea, we coming down from the mountain to visit the Monastery of St. Catherine. This monastery is one of the most famous monuments in the world. St. Catherine Monastery After Descending you will be met by our guide, Visiting the Burning Bush, Chruch, Moses well & The Basilisk. Breakfast: After Visiting the Monastery you will get your breakfast in hotel close to the Monastery. After breakfast transfer back to Sharm, Arrival to Sharm around 13.30. The tour is daily excepted (Friday-Sunday)

What should I bring for the Hiking Trip Moses Mountain?
Closed, comfortable shoes, sunglasses and a scarf for the dust, and a light jacket for the evening — the desert cools quickly after sunset. Bring your camera and a little cash for extras and photos.
When is the best time or season to do this trip?
Sharm El Sheikh enjoys sunshine almost all year, so this trip runs every season. Winter (November–March) is pleasantly warm at around 20–24°C and less crowded; summer is hotter but the Red Sea stays warm and swimmable. For water trips a light wetsuit keeps you comfortable in the cooler months.

This is a private trip priced at £250 as a fixed total for the whole group, so the more of you travel together, the lower the cost per person. Prices are in British Pounds and confirmed when you enquire.
Is hotel pick-up and drop-off included?
Most of our Sharm El Sheikh tours include air-conditioned hotel pick-up and drop-off. Just tell us your hotel when you enquire and we will confirm your pick-up time.

Yes. It is family-friendly and beginner-friendly — children can ride along with an adult, and the pace is relaxed and well supervised.
